A donation to Violence Intervention Project helps those in our community who are affected by relationship violence.
Your donation meets these needs, for example:
$5 Provides a ride to a medical appointment
$25 Pays a fee for housing application
$50 Gets a client to work for a week
$75 Supplies diapers for two (2) months
$100 Offers group therapy for one (1) hour
$150 Provides two (2) nights in a safe hotel
$500 Feeds shelter families for one (1) month
$1000 Keeps VIP’s lights on for one (1) month
$1500 Moves a family in a rental
$5000 Offsets needed capital improvements
We, at Violence Intervention Project, are so grateful for friends like you who help us continue our mission to restore hurt lives and build stronger communities by ending violence for those most in need.
Grants only cover a portion of our annual operating budget. Your contribution allows us to continue to provide services and support for families and individuals affected by domestic and sexual violence. This includes shelter, advocacy, and safety planning, supervised visitation, safe exchanges, and transitional housing.

Give MN hosts an annual fundraiser called “Give to the Max.” The date is in November, but you can still donate on their website for VIP by following the link above.
Thrivent members may donate their Thrivent Choice dollars to VIP. Search for eligible recipients and you will find Violence Intervention Project, Thief River Falls, MN.
