Umbrella Tree Visitation Center, a program of Violence Intervention Project, is a safe and nurturing place for children to visit their non-custodial parent without witnessing or experiencing violence or conflict between parents. We serve families with children from birth up to age eighteen.
Umbrella Tree provides safe, neutral exchanges, supervised visitation and referrals to education and support.
Umbrella Tree is a program of Violence Intervention Project and operates separately from Violence Intervention’s Advocacy programs, with separate staff to alleviate conflicts of interest and maintain confidentiality.
Where is it located?
The visitation center is located in Thief River Falls and serves families from all counties in NW Minnesota.
