Violence Intervention Project (VIP) serves the community of Thief River Falls:
VIP provides these services:
(All services are free of charge)
- 24-hour toll-free crisis line - confidential
- Safe homes and shelter for battered women and their children
- Protection orders, accompaniment to law enforcement, court hearings or attorney
- Emergency transportation
- Safety plan for all victims
- Supervised visitation or neutral exchange of children
- Information and referral to other helping agencies and accompaniment to appointments
- A safe, confidential place for victims to share experiences and receive non-judgmental
support and options
- Define and build a support system
- Support groups on a variety of issues
